I accept most major commercial insurance plans.  Before booking our first appointment, I recommend that you contact your insurance company to get information about whether I'm an in-network provider for your plan; if you have you have a copay/coinsurance and deductible; whether preauthorization is required; if there are limitations on the type, length, and frequency of therapy services you can receive; and whether teletherapy is covered (when appropriate).  I also recommend that you ask whether your insurance plan covers the following service codes:

90837:  psychotherapy session

90791:  psychiatric diagnostic evaluation without medical services

 

If you don't see your insurance listed or are uninsured, I may still be able to offer you services.  I'm also happy to provide documentation if you wish to make out-of-network claims with your insurance company on your own.  Contact me today for more information.

PRIVATE PAY FEES

I offer private pay options for individuals who do not wish to use an insurance plan to pay for services:

50-60-min initial intake session
55-min individual therapy session
45-min individual therapy session
30-min individual therapy session

If you don’t have insurance, don’t plan to use your insurance to pay for services, or wish to work with an out-of-network provider, under federal and Virginia laws you have the right to receive a written estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency items and services before they occur.  You also have rights and protections against receiving surprise bills while receiving some types of medical services.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment is required at the time of services. I ask that you provide your credit/debit card information on file in my secure, HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST CSF® certified client portal.  I accept all major credit cards.  Co-pays, co-insurance, deductible amounts, service fees, and late cancellation and missed appointment fees are automatically charged to the credit card on file unless arrangements are made in advance for you to pay your balance by another method.  The full session fee is charged out-of-pocket for missed/no-showed sessions, and rescheduled or canceled sessions without 24 hours notice.
